Helen & Rory’s Wedding at 10-11 Carlton House Terrace
When Helen and Rory got in touch about their wedding plans, I knew it was going to be something special. They were planning an elegant, modern celebration with a relaxed atmosphere, and 10-11 Carlton House Terrace was the perfect setting.
The day started at their home with a relaxed morning of getting ready, all happy energy and excitement. Helen wore a stunning Stephanie Allin gown, and Rory looked fantastic in a classic black tux.
They chose to do a first look, which meant they could enjoy some quiet time together before the ceremony and head straight into celebrations afterwards. We took portraits on The Mall and outside the venue, even stopping traffic at one point, which definitely added a bit of fun!
The ceremony took place in the Wolfson Room, with soft light pouring in through the tall windows and the park just beyond. It was heartfelt and emotional, with friends reading and singing, and lots of happy tears.
Afterwards, guests gathered in the elegant lobby for cocktails and canapés, with stunning floral arrangements by Bloomologie. A simple palette of autumnal tones and modern gold accents made everything feel beautifully seasonal without being overdone.
As the sun began to set, we snuck out for a few more portraits before dinner. Heartfelt and funny speeches followed, before the couple led everyone into the Gallery for cake (made by a bridesmaid!), coffee, and dancing.
Their choreographed first dance was a total highlight – stylish, fun, and the perfect way to kick off the party.
