Wedding planning tips and my planning guide
Hi there. Today I would like to share LOTS of wedding planning tips and a great resource for planning your wedding day.
So many times I speak to couples who are really excited about getting married and planning their big day but often really struggle knowing where to start and what to do when it comes to planning their perfect wedding day. It’s understandable, for the majority of couples this is the first time you are getting married.
You aren’t sure how long everything takes. Maybe you are finding the choices and options available totally overwhelming. It could be that you have loads of great ideas but aren’t sure how to bring them to life. You might not know if you want family photos and if you do how many you should aim for. Is having an engagement shoot something you should be doing? Often it’s as simple as just needing a guiding hand to help you understand how to make your day run more smoothly so you can have as much fun as possible.
I’ve answered all these questions and more in blog posts that offer guidance, recommendations and advice for planning your wedding day. One topic I get asked about a lot is group photos so I’ve written a post full of top tips on making your group photos easy.
The best thing about this new Planning Guide is that I will add to it regularly. There will be features on all aspects of the wedding day, including some amazing supplier recommendations. I will also keep sharing all my own wedding planning tips from a photography point of view – all so you will get the very best out of your wedding photography on your big day.
My main aim as a wedding photographer is to provide my couples with beautiful, memorable images. I also want to give as much support and assistance as I can along the way, which is where the Planning Guide comes in. If this also helps couples who might choose to book a different photographer then that’s fine by me. I want everyone who gets married to LOVE their wedding photographs, to have gorgeous images that will last a lifetime and bring back the best memories. It’s also really important that you are happy with every decision you make when it comes to planning your wedding day. This is one of the reasons I also share posts that encourage you to be your own wonderful and unique selves on your wedding day and to plan a wedding that is as unique as you are.
