Very stylish London wedding photography at Town Hall Hotel, with the prettiest florals, bridesmaids in pink and an awesome couple having the best time on this amazing day.
When Sarah and Andy first got in touch with me about their Town Hall Hotel wedding in London, I was so thrilled – they were planning a really fun and stylish London wedding photography all based at Town Hall Hotel. Sarah and Andy are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Getting ready
I began the morning at the Town Hall Hotel in London, where the bride and her friends were getting ready, and it was so chilled out. Everyone was in a good mood and relaxing enjoying the morning prep. Sarah wore a simple but beautiful Temperley lace dress and Andy wore a stylish navy double-breasted tweed suit and they looked so incredible.
To make the day even better, it was a gorgeous sunny spring day, which was glorious.
The Town Hall Hotel London wedding ceremony
The wedding took place in the old council chamber in the hotel and was a gorgeous and happy ceremony. Sarah grinned like a Cheshire cat through the whole thing. Clearly the happiest day as she married her best friend, Andy. They had wonderful readings, which brought smiles and laughter. After the ceremony, there was a big cheer from everyone, and then it was time for confetti and photos outside. I love a bit of confetti. In fact, I love a LOT of confetti and these guys went to town. Not only did they have tons for their guests to throw, but they also had amazing confetti canons that showered gold over everyone. Awesome!
After the London wedding ceremony
The wedding reception took place in the De Montfort Suite, one of the larger rooms in the hotel. During the drinks reception, they had a friend playing the piano, which added a wonderfully relaxed vibe to the reception time. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, the couple mingled and laughed with their friends.
Soon it was time for the couple and their guests to eat. After dinner, they had some wonderful speeches (lots more laughter, a few happy tears and some embarrassing stories!). The couple then cut the wedding cake and the party got started. After their first dance everyone piled onto the dance floor. They also had a photo booth, which was a huge hit.
I loved the styling of this wedding. A perfect mix of relaxed, elegant, creative, fun and pretty. All set in a beautiful venue with lots of fabulous people. Can’t really beat it! Enjoy…
