A Stylish Rooftop at The Trafalgar wedding with cocktails overlooking Trafalgar Square in London
When Maria and Xander first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so happy – they were planning a stylish Rooftop at The Trafalgar wedding with an intimate ceremony and a cocktail party at a rooftop bar for the reception. Maria and Xander are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
The intimate Marylebone Town Hall wedding ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place at Marylebone Town Hall, and was a romantic intimate ceremony. They had their own vows, which brought some happy tears. After the ceremony there was a big cheer from everyone, and then they were showered with confetti as they made their way down the steps of the Town Hall.
Maria and Xander mingled with their guests outside as they were hugged and congratulated. We did a few relaxed family photos on the steps before Maria, Xander and I headed off for couples photos. We took a walk round to Regents Park and captured some fabulous photos of the two of them. These two were so easy to photograph! They are clearly mad about each other and just loved spending time together while we chatted and took photos.
Their plan for the day included a bit of a break and time for an outfit change and a new look for the evening cocktail party.
The Rooftop at The Trafalgar wedding reception
The evening celebrations were at Rooftop at The Trafalgar, which is a fabulous rooftop bar with views over Trafalgar Square. It was fabulous and a perfect place for the evening cocktail party.
It was a really hot and sunny day, which was glorious. The cocktails flowed and the canapés were delicious. Maria and Xander looked amazing and were clearly having the best time.
During the reception, they had bowl meals, which went down a storm. As the couple mingled I captured lots of natural photos of them and their guests having fun. We did a few relaxed group photos before I left them to carry on celebrating into the night.
This was a super stylish Rooftop at The Trafalgar wedding and one that was fabulous to be a part of. Maria, Xander and their friends and family were so lovely and welcoming. I definitely felt like one of the guests and enjoyed myself immensely!
