Making the most of your photos with personalised Photo Books
Those of you who know a little about me might know that photography is my second career. I started life as a graphic designer. It was a job I loved and did for many years before being drawn into the world of photography.
With a love of design came a love of paper, stationery and all things printed. The number of notebooks I have almost criminal!
When I started doing photography I knew I wanted to offer beautiful albums and printed products as part of the business. I shoot digital, which is a wonderful way to share the photos you have. However, having a printed photo or a beautifully designed book that you can touch and hold seems so much more special. These physical albums and printed photos become heirlooms and are likely to last far longer than the digital images. Who didn’t look through old family photos as a kid? I know I did and was equally fascinated and amused by the people, the fashions and the places in the photos.
As a wedding photographer, I am often asked to design albums that capture the story of the wedding day. These are wonderful, bespoke designed, hand-bound and made to last a lifetime. You can see more about the wedding albums I offer here. These albums are gorgeous but aren’t always a perfect fit for the family photo shoots I do.
This year I have photographed some fabulous family shoots, which has been such fun. As a London family photographer, I have been looking for a perfect option for personalised photo books that the families I do photos for would love too. Due to my graphic design background, I am very picky about print quality and finish. When it comes to albums and photo books they have to be amazing!
A few months ago I came across Rosemood and immediately loved the look of their photo books. They are simple in design, which means they will stand the test of time, and they offer great options for creating a beautiful personalised book with a choice of paper finishes.
I look forward to getting my own samples of these books in the New Year! I am also very happy to be able to share a SPECIAL OFFER that the lovely people at Rosemood have passed on to me. If you are interested in having one of these personalised photo books get in touch. I can offer a design service so you don’t need to do a thing apart from choosing the book style.
Enjoy browsing and getting inspired for creating your own beautiful photo book. If you love the idea of booking a family photoshoot, so you can create one of these books yourself let me know!
