A beautiful Autumnal intimate wedding at Pembroke Lodge

Cynthia and Panawat had an intimate wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. It was an elegant and relaxed mini wedding, with the most beautiful Autumnal inspired flowers everywhere.
Getting ready
The couple chose to get ready at the same hotel, close to the venue. I spent a little time with each of them to capture some photos of the moments before the ceremony. Even though weddings have been smaller this year, it hasn’t made them any less special. Getting ready time is still exciting. That moment the dress goes on still brings the biggest smiles and a few nerves. Having your loved ones there to support you means the world.
Once they were both ready we set up a ‘first look’ on the staircase of the hotel. It made for a wonderful entrance as Cynthia swept down the stairs with her dad. The couple’s faces said it all with the widest smiles!
The intimate wedding
The ceremony took place in the Belvedere Suite and had the most beautiful floral decorations. The ceremony was a romantic and heartwarming occasion, full of happiness and giggles.
After the ceremony, they were showered with colourful confetti petals, which was so much fun, and I got some wonderful photos of the newly married couples and their guests. The weather at this intimate wedding was cool but dry, the golden leaves making for a stunning backdrop for outdoor photos.
A mini reception at Pembroke Lodge
For the reception, the couple had organised drinks and canapes for their guests, and everyone relaxed and enjoyed spending time together. Pembroke Lodge has plenty of space both indoor and outside, which made it perfect for a safe intimate wedding. The happy couple and I took a wander around the gardens for some relaxed photos. Making the most of the amazing Autumn leaves and beautiful natural colours. We returned for a few family photos and then guests were called for the wedding breakfast. The tables were set up in a square shape, with plenty of space. They were beautifully decorated with gorgeous flowers and candles and each place had a little honeypot.
The evening
After the meal, it was time for a few speeches. The speeches were heartfelt, emotional and very happy. They summed up the whole day and what it meant to Cynthia and Panawat.
The couple took to the floor for their own first dance, followed by sparklers to end the celebrations. This was a really beautiful, emotional and happy intimate wedding at Pembroke Lodge. A joy to photograph and a pleasure to be a part of.
