A gorgeous sunrise engagement shoot in London
Edith and Freddie wanted to have an engagement shoot in London to help them to feel a little more comfortable with photos ahead of their wedding day. They also liked the idea of marking the time of their engagement with a relaxed photo session.
When we started chatting about ideas for where to do their shoot they knew they wanted to be in London. They chose a part of the city they loved to visit; Primrose Hill and Regents Park. These are both beautiful areas, with open spaces, great views and pretty gardens. They also loved the idea of doing a sunrise engagement shoot. As a lover of gorgeous light, I was more than happy to go with this idea. It was a risk because there is no guarantee of a sunrise (or even nice weather), but we lucked out and the sun rose in all its glory to give us the most stunning morning.
I like an engagement shoot to be relaxed, fun and no stress. We wander and chat. There’s no pressure to do anything or be something that you aren’t. I very much take the lead from how you are as a couple. Edith and Freddie were a little nervous to start, but soon got into the swing of it and enjoyed cuddling, chatting and spending some time together.
Enjoy sharing this beautiful sunrise engagement shoot in London.
As a London Wedding Photographer, I frequently do London engagement shoots, but I do love to go outside London for shoots too. If you are planning an engagement shoot and want to go to the beach, or head into the countryside let me know. If you love the idea of a sunrise engagement shoot I can highly recommend it, even though its an early start! It’s always great to have a little adventure.
