A London family photoshoot at home with Olivia & Bryn

I’m honoured to have been there to document a number of the key parts of Olivia & Bryn’s life in recent years. I captured their engagement photos in Cambridge, as we revisited where they first met and their love grew. I photographed their amazing wedding at Busbridge Lakes, a beautiful sunny Summer day surrounded by their favourite people. So it was a complete pleasure to meet up with them again to photograph their little boy and this amazing time in their life as new parents. I loved being able to capture their London family photoshoot.

We kept it simple for their shoot. They wanted photos at home, to have a real memory of this time and the place they call home. The shoot was a great chance for a catch up too. We chatted, I took photos. There were cuddles, lots of playtimes, more cuddles and plenty of giggles. I know some photographers love the newborn stage, but I love to photograph little ones when they are between 3-6 months. You get so many more reactions, smiles and looks to the camera. It’s the dimpled hands and feet, the chunky thighs and arms, the round and chubby cheeks. It’s a wonderful age to photograph.

I spent a lovely time with Olivia, Bryn and their little boy, Finn. We hung out at home for a while, then headed to the park for a few photos outside. When the rain started we headed back in and it was soon feeding time for Finn and more tea for the rest of us. I even got a little cuddle at the end of the shoot, always lovely.
