A beautiful outdoor Preston Court wedding in Kent

The outdoor Preston Court wedding

The wedding took place at on the little island in the gardens of Preston Court. This is such a beautiful spot and made that little bit extra special as it can only be reached by an ornate bridge. The couple and their immediate family and wedding party were all on the island, with the rest of the guests seated opposite. It was a beautiful ceremony as Sarah and Steve exchanged vows in front of their loved ones. After the ceremony there was a big cheer from everyone. Sarah and Steve made their way back over the bridge to join their guests and begin the celebrations.

The garden drinks reception

The drinks reception took place in the gardens, where the couple mingled and chatted with their guests. It was a beautifully sunny day, which was glorious. Towards the end of the reception, the couple did a bubble tunnel instead of the traditional confetti, which was great fun and for everyone. While the guests enjoyed canapés and cocktails, I took Sarah & Steve for a wander around the grounds for relaxed couples photos. As we finished up it was time for them to join their guests for dinner.

The wedding breakfast was held in the Kentish barn, which is an amazing space. They had speeches after dinner, which kept everyone entertained.

They had some beautiful personal touches to their wedding styling. From the His & Hers personalised Converse trainers, to the book-inspired decor, not to mention the amazing cupcakes.

The evening party in the Kent Barn at Preston Court

It was such a beautiful evening, everyone headed back outside to enjoy the late evening sunshine and garden games. The barn was turned around and made ready for the evening party. We took advantage of an amazing sunset and headed to the carousel for some photos with Sarah and Steve.

Soon it was time for the first dance. Sarah and Steve did a brilliant first dance and were quickly joined on the dance floor by their friends and family. Everyone was definitely ready to party the night away and carry on the celebrations.
