Caroline & Charlie’s pretty & elegant wedding at Gaynes Park
I love photographing a wedding at Gaynes Park and this one was no different.
I’m often impressed by the creativity of my brides when it comes to ideas and planning for their wedding day. For their wedding, Caroline had learned calligraphy so she could beautifully write and design all her own stationery. She did an amazing job too.
Caroline and Charlie have been together since school day. They have been through so much and have such a wonderful connection. Their wedding day really captured the two of them and was a wonderful mix of laid back fun with some very emotional moments and plenty of hugging and laughing. From the relaxed morning preparations with Caroline and her bridesmaids to the nerves and fun with Charlie and the guys. The wonderfully touching ceremony, with one or two happy tears, and the fun and laughter of the reception. I loved the simple elegance of the style they had put together for their day. Caroline’s Jenny Packham dress was beautiful and her bridesmaids looked stunning in their silver-grey Two Birds Bridesmaid dresses. The pretty flowers of white, green and blue tones made perfect decorations in the barn for the wedding meal. Small touches such as the handwritten place names made the day that little more personal. It was a wonderful day and one I was thrilled to be a part of.
One of the things I love is being able to really connect with my couples. When this happens the whole day flows by so easily. I love to have a laugh with the bride and groom, to chat with the guests and to become a part of the wedding day. This is the best way to really capture the day and tell a couples wedding day story.
