An elegant Hampton Court House wedding with a travel theme and bridesmaids in purple.
“We just want to say thank you so much!!! Not just for our beautiful pictures, but for being such wonderful support. You and your team allowed us to take time away to enjoy our day, and we can truly say that we enjoyed every minute as much as it is possible to do so. We absolutely love our pictures and the moments you have captured are truly priceless.” – Belle & Tim
Belle and Tim live in Germany, so when they started planning their Hampton Court House wedding they chose to get help from planner Meghan Fay from Extraordinary Days. I was so excited when I first talked to Belle & Tim about their Hampton Court House wedding in London. They were planning the most beautiful and romantic wedding with both a civil ceremony and a blessing from their church pastors, who were travelling from Germany to be with them on the day. Belle and Tim are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
The whole day took place at Hampton Court House and was a wonderful ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, songs and music, very special blessings, which were magical. There were tears, laughter and such a happy time. After the ceremony, there was a big cheer from everyone, and then the celebrations began.
The decor the couple had chosen looked fabulous. Inspired by their love of travel they had incorporated this into the style and decor, using little globes, passport-style invitations and an arrivals board style seating plan. The room was decorated with stunning flowers, by Blue Sky Flowers, in a range of purple tones and they had an amazing cake to match the colour theme, by Cakes By Krishanthi. It was so personal to Belle and Tim.
It was a warm overcast day, which was perfect for photos. While the guests enjoyed canapes and drinks, the couple mingled while I took candid photos. We took a little time to whisk Belle & Tim off for portraits around the grounds of Hampton Court House. My favourite photo from our portrait session is one taken during the early evening photos. I always like to split the couples photos in two, some during the reception and some in the early evening. I love the close-up photo of the happy couple, where Belle has the biggest smile on her face. This photo sums up the two of them perfectly. Happy, in love and perfect together.
They ended the day with sparklers and fireworks, a wonderful way to create a memorable evening for them and their guests.
Here’s their beautiful, elegant & vibrant Hampton Court House wedding. Enjoy!
