Gorgeous outdoor wedding at Wadhurst Castle
When I first chatted to Eliza and Mike about their Wadhurst Castle wedding I was so excited. They were planning the most beautiful outdoor wedding with a ceremony in the walled garden and a garden party reception. Eliza and Mike are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
During the run up to their wedding Eliza and Mike added an engagement shoot to their package. This is a great way to get comfy with having photos taken as well as celebrating the engagement. A few months before their wedding we got together to have a wander, take photos and do plenty of chatting!
Their wedding day was everything they had hoped and planned for. The sun shone all day and they had an utterly wonderful outdoor ceremony followed by garden games and drinks on the lawn. Eliza looked amazing in her Suzanne Neville dress (I definitely had a bit of dress envy here!), and Mike’s choice of black tie and a white jacket was perfect. It was a day filled with love, happiness and joy… with some excellent speeches, a fabulous sunset and plenty of dancing!
I loved getting to know the two of them. From their engagement shoot, the emails and chats as they planned the day to being there to photograph it. It really did feel like a privilege to be part of their wedding day at Wadhurst Castle.
